Important Announcement for all 2010 and 2011 subscribers to
Monash Bioethics Review

Dear Subscriber,

We would like to inform you of some forthcoming changes to Monash Bioethics Review in 2010 and 2011.

Volume 29 issues 1–4
As you are no doubt aware, this volume is running behind schedule: one issue has been published so far, and the second issue is due out in November. Unfortunately it will not be possible for us to publish the remaining two issues this year. To allay concerns about when each issue will be published, we have decided that the remaining two issues (29:3 and 29:4) will be published in March and October of 2011, making volume 29 span two years. Your subscription will of course be extended until the end of 2011 to accommodate this change. And in 2012, the journal will resume a calendar-year publishing schedule. Volume 40 will be published in 2012, and so on.

There are exciting plans for Monash Bioethics Review. A cross-faculty bioethics consortium is being established between Monash University's Centre for Human Bioethics and bioethics researchers and teachers in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences. It is envisaged that Monash Bioethics Review will become the journal of this consortium, with additional content and editorial involvement from bioethics staff at both faculties. Stay tuned for further news on the Monash Bioethics Review homepage at www.epress.monash.edu/mber.

Please do not hesitate to contact Monash University Publishing with any queries.

Best regards,
